A Window to the Future

A Window to the Future Final

Humanity is always a child when looking to new technologies.

When new technologies are discovered people are usually enthusiast and optimistic. They often become blind and start believing whatever they hear from the media and other people, without judging carefully the case. I believe whatever we like may create addictions, TV included. Going back to when TVs were first produced, people were curious and interested in the new technology. As the knowledge on the household appliance increased and evolved, information started traveling via screen, allowing the richest part of the world to know what was happening outside their house while sitting on their couch, allowing TVs to become a “window to the world”. People have always been able to see life degenerating, but rarely gave up their source of information and imagination. Lately shows are becoming a person’s possibility to forget what they are living and explore a new reality, sometimes ending up confusing the two worlds.

TV used to be the information for your life, now life is the information for your TV.
